Ben Ashby

With a diverse career background, including the corporate and education sectors, Ben Ashby comes with a variety of life experiences which only add to his ability to being a Chaplain. Throughout his previous careers, Ben had received many prompts which moved him into being in a dedicated chaplaincy role until he acknowledged his calling by accepting the role of Chaplain at Hilliard Christian School in 2023. Prior to moving to Hobart, Ben was working both as a Learning Support Teacher and a Chaplain at the Sydney Adventist Hospital. In addition, he has been regularly involved in music ministries since his teenage years. Ben is married with two young children, and they all enjoy being involved in their local church community. Ben has a thirst for knowledge and is passionate about helping people experience the love, joy, and goodness of Jesus Christ through his actions.
