Ricky Hergenhan
Conference President, Scottsdale Church Pastor
Having grown up in a dairy farm - and was a dairy farmer himself - Ricky Hergenhan may have never expected to one day become a pastor, let alone the President of the Tasmanian Conference. But like all of us, God had a plan for him. After studying theology and ministry to become a pastor, Ricky worked in local churches and youth ministry before taking on the role of President in Tasmania. Ricky is convinced that the Gospel changes lives and he is passionate about sharing it with others. His hope is to see the local churches thriving in Tasmania. Ricky is married to a local Tassie girl - Libby - and they have four awesome children (Giles, Heidi, Hayden, and Hannah) who share his love to ride motorbikes. Rick also enjoys gardening, particularly growing vegetables. His favourite Bible verse is Proverbs 3: 5-6 (NKJV) - 'Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.'
