Trust Services
What is Trust Services?
The Tasmanian Conference provides a Will service to its members through the Trust Services Department. The service has operated for over thirty years and is under the supervision of practicing lawyers.
For legal reasons, the service provided is limited to “those associated with the church”. This is understood as referring to church members or otherwise involved with the church. Wills are prepared free of charge and without financial obligation to leave a bequest to the church. Please call Trust Services on (03) 9264 7777 during business hours for further information.
Many members wish to benefit the church organization by means of a bequest, and though not required, the Director can ensure that the Will is written in such a way that the bequest will benefit that part of the Lord’s work that is the object of the member’s choice.
Guardianship of minor children often weighs heavily on younger parents and having Christian values reflected in their Will is important to them. As part of our conversations with people in regard to this we are always happy to guide our clients to enable their own Christian values to be enunciated in regard to guardianship.
